Procedure Timeline

For patients with cosmetic concerns, this is an opportunity for the patient and Dr. Okland to identify the ideal nose shape to build on the operative day.
PRE-OPERATIVE PREPARATION: Preparations are made, including obtaining medical clearances, following pre-operative instructions, and discontinuing certain medications or supplements as advised by Dr. Okland.
SURGERY: On the day of the procedure, the patient undergoes surgery under general anesthesia or intravenous sedation. Dr. Okland makes the necessary incisions, reshapes the nasal structures, and performs desired modifications.
RECOVERY: Following the surgery, the patient enters the recovery phase. This involves closely monitoring the patient's healing progress, managing discomfort and swelling, and adhering to post-operative care instructions.
POST-OPERATIVE APPOINTMENTS: Multiple follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor healing, remove sutures or nasal packing, and assess the progress of the recovery. These appointments occur within the first week, a few weeks later, and several months after the surgery.
